In the late game, 2nd placed eagles dominated against the inexperience Spartans who are currently sitting on the bottom of the ladder. While things were tough for the spartans, there were positive signs throughout the evening with some strong running, passing and at times some excellent defensive work. Inconsistency however failed to pose any real threat to their opponent as the Eagles showed throughout the evening strength on both offence and defence, making amends after last weeks loss to the Chiefs. The Eagles ran out winners 46-8
